What is your turn-around time?
Answer:
Our usual time is 3-4 weeks, but that may vary according to how busy we are. Some items (such as tablecloths, socks, and some slips) may need to be ordered in, thus the time varies a lot for those items. If you need an item before the normal time, you may request a RUSH placed on your order with the additional charge of 10% of your subtotal, and we will do our best to have it to you by the deadline. If you know the date that you need the garments by, please let us know when placing your order. A RUSH will speed it up about 2 weeks.

Question:
Do you sell patterns?
Answer:
We do not sell patterns, but we do sell unsewn items for a discount, which varies from $12 to $20, depending on the style. If it is only for your own personal use, you may take patterns off of the garment before you sew it.

Can I send my own material in to be sewn?
Answer:
Certainly! If you have fabric you would like to have made in one of our styles, feel free to send it in. We will reduce the cost of the garment as follows:
Ladies dress.........$12

Question:
How much fabric should I send in?
Answer:
An average ladies dress takes approximately 4 yards of material if it is 45" wide. If the material is 60" wide, 3 yards will do. Things that may change the amount of fabric needed are: long sleeves, a large collar, significant extra length, etc.
Other items and needed amounts for 45" fabrics:
Ladies jumpers.......3 1/2 to 3 2/3 yards
Girls dresses (XS-M).........2 yards
Girls dresses (L-XXL).........3- 3 1/2 yards
Baby dresses........1 yard
Ladies blouses......2 1/4 yards

Question: How much of a hem do your garments have?
Answer: Our dresses and jumpers come with a hem that averages 1". If you would like a larger hem, please state that when you order. We do not recommend letting the hem out on garments that are cotton or poly/cotton because a fade-line may form along the hem.

Question: Do you cut to allow for shrinkage?
Answer: Our garments are made with the exact measurements shown in the sizing chart. If you are choosing a 100% cotton fabric and are concerned about shrinkage, it would be good to add an additional inch or two so that it will end up the size you need after washing.

Question: The order form will not allow me to select all the options I would like to order, how do I go about choosing them?
Answer: Select the options you can, then send us an email with a complete list of the options you want to order. We will make the appropriate changes to the order and the total, and send you a confirmation.
